Buckle, Brass, 1888 pattern Type, Kings Crown

Type of buckle used initially with A Queens Crown with the 1888 Slade Wallace equipment, the belt carried on as a dress belt for sometime after the introduction of the 1903 pattern equipment. This buckle could also be used with the 1903 pattern belt if so authorised. Genuine, not repro. shows typical example.
