Button Leather, embossed with royal cipher for RFC Overalls

Leather button with royal cypher. These were apparently for use by RFC mechanics in WW1 on their overalls as metal buttons could damage fabric on the aircraft.

Genuine item, we bought these about 20 years ago in an old military surplus warehouse closure along with other WW1 items.
