Genuine WW2 Canadian Tommy Cooker, unused, missing fuel plate (fairly easy to make).

Safety Notice

This cooker is sold primarily as display items but if it is decided to use one you should use a suitable solid fuel, ensure the cooker is correctly assembled and placed on a level stable surface which must be non inflammable (not wood or over dry grass/straw etc.) it should not be used near inflammable objects such as fuel storage tanks, hay, clothing etc. Pans used for cooking should be of a suitable size to prevent tipping which could cause injury. Metal handles of pans may get hot and care should exercised to prevent burning or instinctive reactive dropping of the pans contents which could also cause burns or scalds. Ensure that the cooker has cooled before handling as severe burns could result from the hot metal if this precaution is not followed. At all times exercise sensible procedures when dealing with naked flames and hot surfaces and cooking equipment. Ensure that a suitable fire extinguishing method is easily available and fully operational/usable.
