FS Cap, autographed by Ivy Benson! £150

Genuine FS cap, large size (fitted me at 7 3/8 when wearing early war uniform), I was wearing this cap when I went to see the Ivy Benson band about 1992 at a 40's event in Essex, Ivy Benson was still with the band and at the end of the dance I was the only one to go up and ask for her autograph in my cap, I still remember her smiling and saying "It's been a long time since anyone asked me to do this". For those of you who have not heard of Ivy, she was the most successful female band leader in WW2 and her band was unique in being composed of all women musicians. They toured with ENSA and was the resident band with the BBC, she died in 1993 so we must have been amongst the last people to see her on stage.

No visible date, has been fitted with different badges.
