GPO Postman/woman armband £35

1940's Postman/Woman armband, these were used to denote that a person was officially employed by the Post Office and were usually worn by those delivering mail, there was a shortage of uniform as women replaced men going into the armed forces and for a time the armband was the only item that could prove they were on official duties. Genuine item.
