WW2 period Officers KD SD Jacket and shorts

Officers WW2 period KD service dress jacket and a pair of Private purchase issue pattern shorts.

Jacket is almost certainly pre-WW2 as it has a 'spine pad' designed to protect the spine from the sun's heat. Good condition, epaulettes have holes for either 2nd Lieutenants pip  or a Majors Crown. No buttons. Sizes approx 38"-40" chest, 36" waist neck to skirt 31"

Shorts have had a hard life and have contemporary replacement buttons and 1 strap and buckle. Approx size 28" waist.
