Reproductions of the early war Anti-gas brassards, these were used to detect if gas was used and can be seen in photogrpahs of soliders from Dunkirk to the beaches of Normandy on D-Day.
Four of these wee issued, two to be worn on the arms and two carried in the respirator haversack.
These are excellent reproductions and hard wearing as were the originals, but of course will not actually detect the presence of gas!
Photo shows representative stock only.
